virtually on 4 March 2021.

What is  Economic Cooperation Organization?
 
ECO is the successor organization of Regional Cooperation for Development (RCD), founded in 1964, which ended activities in 1979. 

ECO is an Asian political and economic intergovernmental organization and was founded In 1985 in Tehran by the three Asian Islamic countries Iran, Pakistan, and Turkey.It is an ad hoc
organization under the United Nations Charter.

Purpose of Economic Cooperation Organization

The purpose of ECO is to establish a organization much like the European Union to establish a single market for goods and services. It will provide a platform for discussing different ways to improve
development and promote trade and investment opportunities among the member countries.

ECO's Offices

The ECO's offices are in three member countries. 
The ECO's secretariat and cultural department is located in Iran, 
Its economic bureau is in Turkey 
Its scientific bureau is situated in Pakistan.
